On Thursday, BGSU Athletics announced a partnership with Live Source to use the Live Source platform for online auctions and fundraising efforts.
“We are thrilled about this new relationship, which will financially benefit our efforts with the Falcon Fanatics, Bleacher Creatures and student body engagement with Athletics,” BGSU Director of Athletics Derek van der Merwe said. “The integration of the Live Source app will help make the Falcons and our auctions and other opportunities accessible in an instant from anywhere. This capability is perfect for these times, as it will provide an opportunity to enhance our fans’ experience and provide them a chance to bid and buy our memorabilia, gear, and experiences regardless of their location. We are very excited about the potential of Live Source to help make our organization cutting edge.”
The Live Source app will allow Falcon fans to take part in auctions for souvenirs and experiences from wherever on whatever device they use while allowing BGSU to reach fans with opportunities instantly.

We are excited to help the Falcons increase fan engagement, maximize reach, and raise more money for student-athletes and programs through the Live Source app, while providing fans all over the country with access to items and experiences like never before,” Live Source Vice President and Chief Experience Officer Jamie Hall said. “With Live Source, BGSU will be able to drive significant revenue efficiently and effectively in a fun and interactive way.”
