BGSU’s Counseling Center is partnering with Project H.O.P.E to provide a new therapy option to BGSU students.
According to the Equine Group Therapy page on the BGSU website, this unique form of therapy will provide students the opportunity to learn about healthy relationships with the help of group therapy. This program is open to all students, and students don’t need to have experience with horses to join.
There are two groups to choose from to fit into a student’s schedule: one group meets on Mondays from Feb. 10 to April 14 at 3:30-4:45 p.m., and the other group meets Thursdays from Feb. 13 to April 17 at 11 a.m.-12:15 p.m. There are limited spots to join, so it’s first-come, first-serve, and a screening appointment is required for students to participate.
Interested participants should call 419-372-2081 to schedule a screening to participate.
