Former Notre Dame, Indiana and Iowa Western Community College cornerback JoJo Johnson will transfer to Bowling Green, according to the team’s social media.
Coming out of Merrillville (IN) High School, he had offers from Bowling Green, Cincinnati, Iowa, Purdue, Michigan State and Colorado State, among others.
Johnson, a three-star recruit out of high school, originally committed to play at Notre Dame before transferring to Iowa Western for the 2022 season.
As a sophomore with the Reivers, Johnson totaled 16 tackles, three interceptions and two pass breakups before transferring to Indiana as a three-star JUCO transfer.
He had 13 tackles and a pass breakup with the Hoosiers across two seasons.
Johnson marks the fourth Power Four transfer to join the Falcons for 2025, joining Jordan Dunbar (Kansas State), Justin Lamson (Stanford) and Arlis Boardingham (Florida).
