The Falcons traveled to Hamilton, Ohio, to take on the Eastern Illinois Panthers in a Friday afternoon match.
Bowling Green would walk away from the match with a clean sweep of wins, beating the Panthers 4-0. This win improves their record to 4-1 on the season.
Junior Leticia Fonseca would have some extremely strong matches. Sweeping in singles, 6-0, 6-0 and dropping her only set of the match in doubles with her teammate Lucia Gaio, 6-1.
Qianyu Liu would complete the sweep for the Falcons with a come-from-behind victory. After dropping the first set 2-6, Liu would come back to dominate the second and third sets by beating them 6-2 and 6-3.
The Falcons are back in action on Sunday, Feb. 9, as they travel to Peoria, Illinois, to take on Bradley.
