Bowling Green football passing game coordinator and wide receivers coach Erik Campbell has been hired as an assistant wide receivers coach by the University of Michigan, according to 247Sports’ Sam Webb.
Campbell, a former Michigan football player, spent 1995-2007 as the Wolverines’ wide receivers coach, developing NFL talent such as Braylon Edwards, Amani Toomer, Jason Avant and Mario Manningham.
Current Michigan WR coach Ronald Bellamy also learned under Campbell.
Campbell had been a member of Bowling Green’s staff since Scot Loeffler’s hiring in 2019.
