As the season end starts to draw near, some teams are trying to vying for a spot to make the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Tournament.
All teams were in action this week and are fighting hard to get to where they want to be for the end of the year.
Here is how it went for them all:
Akron (20-5, 12-0 MAC)
The Zips have continued their dominance over the rest of the MAC this season, improving their conference record to 12-0.
They started out their week with two offensive shootouts against Western Michigan and Central Michigan, beating the Broncos 105-92 and Chippewas 85-82.
Redshirt junior guard Nate Johnson led the Zips and combined for 40 points, nine assists and 13 rebounds in the two wins.
Miami (OH) (19-6, 10-2 MAC)
The Redhawks had a slight slip up this weekend as they split their games with one win and one loss.
Miami started the week with a win over Toledo at home 92-80; however, they then fell on the road 78-70 to Western Michigan.
In the win over Toledo, redshirt sophomore wing Kam Craft took over the game, dropping 40 points on 13-22 shooting from the field and 9-14 from 3-point range.
Toledo (15-10, 8-4 MAC)
Toledo has struggled this week, as they lost both of their matchups on the road.
They lost their first game against Miami 92-80 before falling to Eastern Michigan 80-73.
Sophomore guard Sonny Wilson was a constant scoring threat against Miami, with 23 points while shooting a perfect 3-3 from deep.
Kent State (17-8, 7-5 MAC)
Kent State has now extended its win streak to four straight after they won both their games at home this week.

Ohio (13-12, 7-5 MAC)
The Ohio Bobcats split their week of MAC basketball, with a 86-81 win over Bowling Green and a 76-75 loss to Kent State.
Graduate guard Shereef Mitchell had a great outing in both games, leading the Bobcats with 17 points in the win over the Falcons.
Ball State (13-12, 6-6 MAC)
The Cardinals took care of both games this week with overtime wins over Eastern Michigan (86-84) and Northern Illinois (89-83), extending their winning streak to three games.
A big reason the Cardinals have three straight games is their MAC leading 3-point percentage at 39.7%
Eastern Michigan (12-13, 5-7 MAC)
The Eastern Michigan Eagles split their past two games with a loss to Ball State and a victory over the Toledo Rockets.
In the win over Toledo, senior guard Jalen Terry, the third-highest scorer in the MAC with 16 points per game, had a season-high 38 points.
Western Michigan (8-17, 5-7 MAC)

In their win over Miami, the Broncos scored 48 points in the second half to pull away with the win.
