Bowling Green football has added a road game for the 2026 season, announcing Friday that they will travel to Lincoln, Nebraska to take on the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
The meeting is scheduled for Sept. 12, 2026, replacing BG’s home opener with St. Francis (PA). The Bowling Green and St. Francis’ game has been moved up a week to Sept. 5, 2026.
Bowling Green’s 2026 road matchup with Arizona State originally set for Sept. 5 has been dropped and will not be rescheduled.
It will be the first meeting all-time between the Falcons and the Cornhuskers, as well as BG’s first ever game in the state of Nebraska.
