The Mid-American Conference announced the All-MAC teams and individual awards for the 2024-25 men’s basketball season on Wednesday morning.
Akron dominated the honors, with John Groce earning Coach of the Year, Nate Johnson taking Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year, along with Shammah Scott earning the nod for Sixth Man of the Year.
Miami’s Brant Byers rounded out the individual awards, earning Freshman of the Year.
BGSU junior guard Javontae Campbell earned All-MAC Third Team and All-MAC Defensive Team honors while Jamai Felt earned All-MAC Freshman Team honors.
The Falcons have had an All-MAC selection for 24 consecutive seasons.
