BGSU women’s soccer announced their second new assistant coach signing of the season with Kyle Pettican joining the team ahead of the 2025 season.
Pettican joins BG after spending seven years with the Philadelphia Union, serving as an assistant coach for the Philadelphia Union Academy and the Union Development Squad.
The Cabrini University graduate also has extensive experience working with other U13-U19 programs, such as Unity FC, the youth club he co-founded in 2017.
As the head coach of Central Bucks South in Warrington, Pennsylvania, Pettican was named Colonial Division Coach of the Year en route to the boy’s state championship match and their first division title in school history.
Pettican joins Steven Samuel as a first-year coach under head coach Chris Fox for the 2025 fall season.
