Buffalo, N.Y.- BGSU women’s tennis (9-9, 0-5 MAC) took on the Buffalo Bulls (16-4), with the Falcons losing 5-2.
This loss brings BGSU’s total to five, as they are looking to break out of their current slump. This was the 31st time these teams have competed against each other in program history, with the Falcons holding a 14-17 record against the MAC foe.
Doubles
The double matchup saw the ladies take one out of the three games to the Bulls. Struggling early on, as the Falcons could handle what Buffalo was throwing at them.
BGSU began with the duo of Tia Clemens and Isabella Baker, managing to score only two points in their eight-game set during this double match.
Next was a close match between Quanyu Lui and Konstantina Adamopoulou, as the second matchup of the double set went down to the wire. However, these girls ended up taking the victory with a score of 5-4 but were abandoned due to injury.
Finally, to wrap up the double side of this game, we saw the team of Lucia Gaio and Leticia Fonseca have similar trouble as Clemens and Baker as they ended up losing in a close, hard, fought battle.

The Falcons witnessed two ladies achieving victory as Baker and Lui secured wins in their matchup, with the Falcons taking two out of six total games dominating wins from these two women against the Bulls.
Clemens was the only other woman who came close to beating her opponent today, with this being the first matchup on the singles side of the game. With the score being (6-3) and (6-4) loss.
