BGSU men’s basketball sophomore guard Braelon Green is transferring to Eastern Michigan, announcing the news in a post on Instagram.
He is the first Falcon to officially transfer after entering the portal on March 27 and becomes the first transfer portal addition for EMU.
Green returns to his home state and will play just under an hour from where he grew up in Southfield, Michigan.
Green transferred to BG last season after spending his freshman year at Arizona State.
He played in 30 games and started one contest for BGSU, averaging 3,4 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game in 15.8 minutes per contest. Green shot 44.6% from the field, 13.3% on 3-pointers and 54.8% on free throws.
