BGSU hockey’s graduating student forward Seth Fyten has been signed by the Savannah Ghost Pirates of the ECHL.
In 2024-25, Fyten played his fifth and final season with Bowling Green, totaling 126 games played, 17 goals and 12 assists. He had a more defensive specialization with with the Falcons, especially under Dennis Williams, playing frequently on the penalty kill and in empty net situations.
The Ghost Pirates, based in Savannah, Georgia, are currently fifth in the ECHL South and tenth overall. They are the affiliate AHLs Charlotte Checkers and the NHL’s Florida Panthers.
Fyten is the second Falcon to sign a pro contract behind senior forward Ryan O’Hara who currently plays for the Greenville Swamp Rabbits.
