Yesterday, former BGSU women’s basketball guard Brook Simpson announced on social media that she will be transferring to Loyola Chicago to continue her basketball career.
Simpson is the first of five Falcon transfers to announce a new home.
Last May, Simpson joined the Falcons as a signee. The Saugatuck, Mich. native played in two games for BG this past season before missing the rest of the season.
Despite missing a year due to injury and having another cut short because of the pandemic during high school, the 5-foot-11 guard still eclipsed 1,000 points.
Simpson was named to the Associated Press All-Michigan Second-Team honors in Division III during her senior year at Saugatuck.
The Rambles went 13-17 and scored 58.1 points per game this past season under head coach Allison Guth and 5-13 in the Atlantic 10.
