The mayor of Bowling Green swore in Terry Bush as the new fire lt. at the city council meeting on Monday.
Bush’s family, such as his children, wife and mother attended the meeting.
Bowling Green resident brought the attention of fracking and how it’s polluting the air. She said she wants it to be gone completely.
“It’s a method of producing oil and natural gas,” the resident said. “It makes people sick, pollutes the environment and destroys property values.”
The resident will be forming a petition to get rid of fracking and will try to have a minimum of 1600 signatures by September at the latest.
