Home Aid of Wood County will host Project Homeless Connect on Wednesday, an initiative started to provide immediate goods and services to those who need them.
The event is open to anyone who is in need of goods and services, not just homeless.
“It can be anyone,” said Tricia Peters, publicity chair for Home Aid of Wood County. “No one will be turned away. It’s free.”
Peters said those who come will be able to receive necessities such as hot meals, haircuts and hygiene products. They will be able to leave with various goods as well.
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at St. Mark’s Church on 315 S. College Drive.
