Texas politician to speak at banquet

Karl Rove, chief political adviser to President George W. Bush, will be speaking at the University on Saturday, March 11. Rove is the keynote speaker for the Fifth District Lincoln-Hayes Banquet hosted by U.S. Rep. Paul Gilmore that honors former presidents Abraham Lincoln and Rutherford B. Hayes. Rove began his political career in Texas during the Watergate era and has served as an advisor to President George W. Bush, since Bush first ran for governor of Texas.
