Anthony Turner ran for 104 yards and a touchdown and threw for another score as BG pounded Akron 44-20 at Doyt Perry Stadium.

Tyler Sheehan was 26-for-36 for 268 yards and threw for two scores. Sheehan hit eight different receivers in the game, including three passes to Turner.

P.J. Mahone had two interceptions, one for a touchdown along with 10 tackles. Erique Dozier led the team with 11 and had two tackles for a loss.

Chris Wright, Jeremiah Kelley and Marques Parks all caught touchdown passes.
