Blotter for 10/29/2007

FRIDAY 7:26 a.m. A Dumpster on Railroad Street was set on fire overnight.

10:37 a.m. Overnight someone kicked the screen door of a house on Ridge Street, causing about $25 worth of damage.

11:10 p.m. Brian P. Kusnic, 22, of Bowling Green, was arrested for hosting a nuisance party on North Summit Street. Jacqueline K. Kniss, 20, of Whitehouse, Ohio, and Kathryn E. Anthony, 20, of Waterville, Ohio, were both arrested at the party for underage possession of alcohol.

11:26 p.m. Derek A. Turton, 20, of Bowling Green, was stopped in his car on Third Street for not having his headlights on. Police found several cases of beer in the car and arrested him for underage possession.

11:53 p.m. Brandon M. Crishbaum, 19, of Grove City, Ohio, was cited for prohibited acts for attempting to use someone else’s ID to get into a bar on East Wooster Street.

SATURDAY 12:57 a.m. Daniel Maurice Cundiff, 28, of Sylvania, Ohio, was arrested for criminal trespass and taken to the Wood County Justice Center for refusing to leave a bar on North Main Street. Cundiff was at the front door of Uptown/Downtown when police arrived. Staff had told him earlier in the evening that he was not wanted at the bar.

12:59 a.m. Camille Patrice Toney, 22, of Northville, Mich., was arrested for assault and disorderly conduct outside Sky Bar and taken to the Wood County Justice Center. Witnesses reported that Toney kicked and struck a bouncer. When officers arrived she was screaming and refused to calm down. When police began to escort her to the patrol car she sat down on the ground and refused to move. Toney’s sister fainted in the doorway of the bar during the incident and was taken to the Wood County Hospital.

1:15 a.m. A juvenile was arrested and taken to the Juvenile Detention Center for criminal damaging after he jumped from the second story balcony of an apartment on Thurstin Avenue and landed on the windshield of a vehicle, shattering it.

2:06 a.m. Cory D. Mathias, 19, of Willard, Ohio, was arrested and taken to the Wood County Justice Center for punching two people in the parking lot of an apartment complex on Thurstin Avenue. Mathias had become physically aggressive with the owner of a vehicle that his friend had damaged earlier in the evening.

3:40 a.m. Silky D. Griffie, 20, of Bowling Green, was arrested for loud sound amplification and warned for marked lanes. Griffie was seen slowly driving his vehicle down the center of South Main Street with his doors open, blasting his music so that it could be heard within a 50-foot radius.

8:54 a.m. Someone threw something at the front window of a home on East Evers Avenue, breaking it and causing $400 worth of damage.

9:02 a.m. Employees of Home Depot found a noose had been tied in the rope department.

9:53 a.m. Steven Paul Champine, 50, of Clinton Township, Mich., was arrested at Jak’s Pharmacy on West Wooster Street for six charges of illegal processing of drug documents.

11:52 a.m. Someone drove off from a gas station on East Wooster Street without paying for $20 worth of fuel.

11:36 p.m. Ryan J. Whitcomb, 20, of Bowling Green, was cited for hosting a nuisance party on East Evers Avenue. A guest of the party, Daniel J. Peterson, 19, of Mentor, Ohio, was cited for underage possession of alcohol.

11:57 p.m. Jillian Leigh Smith, 19, of Bowling Green, was cited for having an open container of alcohol and for underage possession of alcohol on North Enterprise Street.

SUNDAY 12:17 a.m. Daniel W. Frilling, 22, of Minster, Ohio, was issued civil citation for public urination on East Court Street.

12:48 a.m. Kathleen C. Weaver, 20, of Arlington, Ohio, was cited for prohibited acts for using a fake ID to get into a bar on East Wooster Street.

12:57 a.m. Mark A. Williams, 20, of Toledo, was cited for prohibited acts for using another person’s ID to get into a bar on East Wooster Street.

1:30 a.m. Kristofer D. Payne, 19, of Westerville, Ohio, and David F. Houser, 22, of Euclid, Ohio, were arrested for fighting on West Oak Street.
