Alumnus Dr. returns

Bowling Green graduate, Dr. Jeffrey Noftz II, has been hired full time on the Student Health Service and Intercollegiate Athletics medical staff.

Noftz, who was named one of America’s Best Family Doctors by Consumers Research Council of America, studied Physical Therapy as an undergraduate at the University.

Upon graduation he went on to work as a clinical researcher, educator and senior clinician in Sports Medicine at Sports Care Medical College of Ohio. Noftz decided to attend the MCO in the late 1990’s and after graduating completed an accelerated training program in Family Medicine and was Chief Resident in 2002.

Noftz has held positions as Director of Primary Care Sports Medicine in the Departments of Orthopedics and Family Medicine at MCO, has been in private practice at the Bowling Green Clinic, team physician for the University Sports Medicine program and Head Team Physician for Intercollegiate Athletics.

He will begin work on Oct. 1, 2007.
