What’s next, labor unions for elves?

In regard to the “[Censored], Merry Christmas!” [Dec. 5] column written by Sean Martin, he left out a few facts.

The idea that Santa had to change his jolly old laugh because it’s offensive to women is not correct. In actuality, a spokesman for the change stated that the original laugh was too scary for children, and a “gentler ha-ha-ha” would take the place of the ho-ho-horrifying classic.

So, in light of this “new” evidence, the article should have been about the overprotection of our children rather than the overabundance of political correctness in the world.
