The Bowling Green women?s basketball team heads into tomorrow?s game with Central Michigan behind Western Michigan, Toledo and Ball State in the Mid-American Conference West Division.

After an 85-48 win over Akron Wednesday night, the Falcons moved to 2-1 in the MAC, putting them in a tie with 2-1 Eastern Michigan. Western Michigan moved to 3-0 in the conference with a 96-72 win over Marshall.

Central Michigan?s team has struggled with their shooting lately. The Chippewas shot 33.3 percent against Northern Illinois Wednesday night.

Lindy Hatfield led CMU?s scorers with 13 points and Erin Kuhl added 11.The last time Bowling Green and Central Michigan met, last February in Mt. Pleasant, Mich., the Chippewas came out on top, 42-30.They will be facing a different Falcon team this season with a trio of freshmen leading the way in Liz Honegger, Ali Mann and Megan Thorburn.
