Creative works from Bowling Green State University students, faculty and staff will be showcased to all, Saturday Dec. 3, to celebrate the art of science and the science of art.
The annual showcase is in its 18 year of providing musical, theatrical and dance performances on BGSU’s campus from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., at the Fine Arts Center and Wolfe Center for the Arts.
Displays will also feature handcrafted, holiday-themed items for sale.
The event is equipped with free parking and no tickets will be required for public attendance.
Arts X is run by both volunteer students and faculty in arts advocacy.
The group also provides experience in the arts through performances and workshops to K-12 students in Bowling Green School District. The groups’ top listed objective is to create arts awareness in, “as broad a demographic as possible for the Northwest Ohio region.”
Arts X has been nationally endowed by the Ohio Arts Council. The organization responsible for the event is in partnership with the College of Arts and Sciences, College of Musical Arts and College of the Arts.
