The C. Raymond Marvin Center for Student Leadership and Civic Engagement has launched BGSUserves for community organizations to manage and locate volunteers for events, according to a press release from Bowling Green State University.
BGSUserves is free to everyone and will allow organizations to create profiles and connect with over 15,000 students seeking volunteer opportunities. Through the platform, organizations can create events, communicate with volunteers and manage the volunteers.
“As part of this new initiative, we invite any interested community organizations to reach out for more information and to take advantage of this new opportunity,” Assistant Director of the Marvin Center for Student Leadership and Civic Engagement Kendra Lutes said.
While the university manages BGSUserves, the service is also contracted with GivePulse, a national company known for supporting volunteer management and community services.
