BGSU Track and Field had a great weekend at the Penn State National Open. Many Falcons put up program highs, such as Tianna Mulligan, who finished the 600 meter with a time of 1:39.58, the fifth fastest in program history.

Jemelia Hunter placed tenth the 200 meter while Tianna Mulligan earned sixth place for her efforts in the 600. The 3k race had two Falcons place in the top ten with Kylee Cubbison and Olivia Collett earning fourth and seventh respectively. Cubbison appeared again in the distance medley race helping her team place sixth.

In the field events, BG also had a strong showing as Bianca Staples and Katherine Mendenhall placed top ten in the high jump. The highest point of the meet happened during the triple jump, as Brianna Richard placed first closely followed by teammate Sabrima Imes, who collected third. Zaresha Neal was the only Falcon who reached top ten in shotput, finishing in second place.

Next week, the Falcons travel to Akron for the Akron Invite.
