Sweetfish, a bubble tea and poke bowl location is set to open in Bowling Green. There is currently another location in Perrysburg which opened about two weeks ago, and owner Yuzhen Wu is expanding her business to the busy college town.

Currently, the building is undergoing renovations and construction and the expected opening date for the location in Bowling Green is set to open in May.

Following the end of April, the shop will have a soft opening where there will be limited options until their full opening in the second month of business.

The new business will be located between Smoketown and Subway near Pizza Pub 516. The current hours for the Perrysburg location are 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. however, the Bowling Green location will be open an hour later, setting the closing time to 10:30 p.m.

“As someone who loves bubble tea, I am very excited. Usually, these types of places have a lot of inclusive dietary choices so that’s another plus! I think it will be a good addition to the restaurants in Bowling Green and it’s within walking distance (from the university),” said second-year student Haley Muter.
