Senior defender Kyle Cusimano was named the Missouri Valley Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday night.
Cusimano scored the opening goal for the Falcons on Thursday against Duquesne in the 18’ and on Monday against Michigan in the 27’. Both goals were headers off a set-piece from junior midfielder Alberto Anaya, one from a corner and one from a free-kick.
Cusimano now has seven career goals for the Falcons. His goal against the Wolverines was his first at Cochrane Stadium in his four-year career with BG.
The Falcons now sit at 2-1-1 on the season and will host DePaul at Cochrane Stadium on Friday. Kick-off for that match is set for 7 p.m.
