Bowling Green Women’s Golf made the trip out to Colorado on Monday and Tuesday to take part in the Ptarmigan Ram Classic hosted by Colorado State University.

The Falcons overall placed ninth among eleven total schools, scoring a team total of 892 strokes.

This score was record breaking for the Falcons, becoming the lowest scoring outing for the women’s golf team in a 54 hole event in program history.

The first two rounds of the tournament were also special for BG, smashing a 36 hole record for day one by nine shots, (+7).

The orange and brown were led by Sammie Dolce, who finished tied for 30th individually with a score of +5 (72-71-78-221)

Bowling Green looks to continue a strong season at the Shirley Spork Invitational hosted by Eastern Michigan on Oct 2-3.
