Bowling Green women’s soccer travelled to Buffalo on Sunday. The Falcons and the Bulls have become rivals over the past handful of years due to the top-caliber competitive nature of both programs.

The match started slow with both teams only able to tally one shot on goal in the first half.

The second half was were both teams found their opportunities with both team tallying four shots on goal, but neither keeper was willing to give in, making saves on each attempt.

The result marked another shutout for Bowling Green, their fifth during conference play.

With three matches to go, the Falcons currently sit third in the Mid-American Conference standings behind Western Michigan and Ball State.

Next up for the Falcons will be the Central Michigan Chippewas on Thursday, October 19, with kickoff set for 7:00 p.m. EST.
