Distracted Haunted House

This haunted house is located in Bowling Green at 1234 N. Main St. in the Woodland Mall. General admission is $24 and this purchase allows for a three-part experience. The main adventure is located inside the mall with two smaller after-experiences available. Vamp Camp is a blow-up enclosed photo booth with free vampire attire and blood-like substances. Recovery Zone is a nearby tent area where friends can share stories while snacking on complimentary hot cocoa and marshmallows while sitting around a fire. Tickets are available at the door and online, however, purchased tickets online are not qualified for refunds. Both cash and credit will be accepted at the door. Distracted Haunted House will be available until Oct. 29 with a special event taking place on Nov. 4.

Pumpkin Peddler

This pumpkin patch is located at 20354 N. Dixie Highway. Guests are treated to a tractor ride which leads them to an expansive selection of pumpkins to choose from. However, there is a twist to this, as each guest must be able to carry their own pumpkin unaided. Upon returning, each guest will weigh the pumpkin of their choice and purchase the pumpkin based on weight. Cash and check payments are accepted with an ATM onsite. Afterward, other festivities such as face painting, a hay maze and exploring the craft store are offered.

Fleitz Pumpkin Farm

Fleitz Pumpkin Farm is located at 7133 Seaman Rd. in Oregon, Ohio. Fleitz is approximately a 25-minute drive from the Bowling Green campus. Fleitz began operating in 1989 and has continued to grow as a family business, operating through the end of October.  Free admission and parking is available to all guests. Fleitz offers hayrides, a five-acre corn maze, goat feeding, a children’s play farm and a snack shack. The corn maze and hayride will cost two dollars per person with children under two being free. Both credit cards and cash will be accepted. Animals are welcome.
