The City of Bowling Green Human Relations Commission is hosting the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Tribute for the thirty-fifth year on Jan. 12 at 1 p.m. at the Wood County District Public Library.
During the event, the Drum Major for Peace Award will be presented. This award is given to someone who benefits the Bowling Green Community and exemplifies the teachings and values of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
This year’s recipient is Emily Dunipace, the Community Engagement Specialist at Wood County Board of Developmental Disabilities.
The tribute will feature the Deputy Chief of Diversity, Belonging and Multicultural Affairs at BGSU, Ana Brown, along with a member of the Bowling Green Human Relations Commission.
