Teams across the Mid-American Conference has officially unveiled the 2024-25 football schedule. Here in Bowling Green, Falcon football’s upcoming schedule features some big games, as well as an annual tradition moving days of the week.

Aug. 29 – Fordham (Home opener)
Sept. 7 – @ Penn State
Sept. 21 – @ Texas A&M
Sept. 28 – Old Dominion
Oct. 5 – @ Akron (MAC Opener)
Oct. 12 – Northern Illinois
Oct. 19 – Kent State
Oct. 26 – @ Toledo
Nov. 5 – @ Central Michigan
Nov. 12 – Western Michigan
Nov. 23 – @ Ball State
Nov. 29 – Miami
The big news coming from this release is the Battle of I-75 moving to a Saturday for the first time since the 2019-20 season.
It also means head coach Scot Loeffler is finally getting his wish. He had this to say back in November in the days leading up to last season’s Battle of I-75:
“I know Jason (Candle) agrees with this, I really wish this thing was on Saturday and it had a full week of preparation, but obviously him and I don’t make the schedules, that’s way above our paygrade. I wish it was a regular, seven-day week. We really wish this thing was on Saturday. I remember, I think we’ve only played one on Saturday since I’ve been here, and it was just an unbelievable atmosphere, it’s what college football looks like.”
