Teams across the Mid-American Conference has officially unveiled the 2024-25 football schedule. Here in Bowling Green, Falcon football’s upcoming schedule features some big games, as well as an annual tradition moving days of the week.

Mark your calendars.

BGSU 2024-25 SCHEDULE:

Sept. 7 – @ Penn State

Sept. 21 – @ Texas A&M

Sept. 28 – Old Dominion

Oct. 5 – @ Akron (MAC Opener)

Oct. 19 – Kent State

Oct. 26 – @ Toledo

Nov. 5 – @ Central Michigan

Nov. 23 – @ Ball State

Nov. 29 – Miami

The big news coming from this release is the Battle of I-75 moving to a Saturday for the first time since the 2019-20 season.

It also means head coach Scot Loeffler is finally getting his wish. He had this to say back in November in the days leading up to last season’s Battle of I-75:

“I know Jason (Candle) agrees with this, I really wish this thing was on Saturday and it had a full week of preparation, but obviously him and I don’t make the schedules, that’s way above our paygrade. I wish it was a regular, seven-day week. We really wish this thing was on Saturday. I remember, I think we’ve only played one on Saturday since I’ve been here, and it was just an unbelievable atmosphere, it’s what college football looks like.”

Earlier Tuesday morning, the team shared their schedule release via an AI-generated hype video on X (formerly known as Twitter):

177 days until kickoff.
