Despite the heat index flirting with 100, the year’s first Firefly Night drew hundreds of people to downtown Bowling Green Friday evening. Main Street, from Court to Washington, was close to traffic, allowing festival attendees to take in free entertainment, visit local vendors, and sample food from a variety of local food trucks.
The second of three Firefly Nights will also take place on Main Street on July 19 beginning at 5:30 p.m. The final event will take place on Wooster Green August 16, also beginning at 5:30 p.m.
More details are available on the festival website.
