The Sweet Stop bakery announced on its Facebook page that it will close on June 28.

In November of 2019 The Sweet Stop lit its Lights in Bowling Green with hopes and Dreams of preserving an iconic donut shop patrons raved about. We never saw the hurdles ahead of us coming out of Covid, rising prices, shortage of goods, and labor difficulties. We thought this was short term, but 4 years later all the above has gotten worse.
The next day, the Facebook page announced the flood of patrons led to donuts being sold out for the day.
