Bowling Green has reportedly added two games to its out-of-conference portion of the 2025 season.
According to Kevin Kelley of FBSchedules.com, the Falcons will travel down Interstate 75 to Nippert Stadium to face off against the University of Cincinnati on Saturday, September 6, 2025.
This will be the first matchup between Bowling Green and UC since the 1994 season, a matchup that saw the Falcons put away Cincinnati handily, 38-0.
Bowling Green leads the all-time series 4-0, dating back to the schools’ first matchup in 1990.
Also via Kelley,, Bowling Green and Liberty have rescheduled their matchup at Doyt Perry Stadium from 2028 to Saturday, September 13, 2025.
The game was originally scheduled as part of a home-and-home between the schools, with the game in Bowling Green to be played during the 2020 season but was pushed back due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
The series between the two teams is tied 1-1, with Bowling Green winning their first matchup at Doyt Perry Stadium back in 2003, and Liberty evening the score at Williams Stadium in Lynchburg, VA in 2023.
Bowling Green opens the 2025 season with an FCS matchup against the Lafayette Leopards at Doyt Perry Stadium on Saturday, August 30, 2025, and concludes their out of conference slate with a road matchup with the Louisville Cardinals on Saturday, September 20, 2025.
