BGSU will break ground on renovations of the Technology Building on Sept. 27 at 3:30 p.m. to upgrade the aging building.
The project is a multi-million dollar renovation, with construction aiming to wrap up in spring of 2026. The latest renovations to begin after the groundbreaking on Friday will upgrade classrooms, study areas and flex spaces to be used for guest speakers, testing, class projects and more.
Before this past year, the Technology Building had not received major renovation since its original construction in 1973. The renovation of the building is a part of the University’s wider goal to improve the STEM corridor and the subsequent area around it.
