BGSU football tight end Harold Fannin Jr. can add another award to his trophy case.
The junior was named the Tight End of the Week for week four by the John Mackey Award committee, earning the award over Ball State’s Tanner Koziol and Duke’s Nicky Dalmolin.
Fannin recorded eight catches for 145 yards and a 65-yard touchdown in Bowling Green’s 26-20 loss to #25 Texas A&M on Sept. 21.
The touchdown was the longest scoring play allowed by the Aggie defense since Mississippi State’s Rara Thomas caught a 75-yard touchdown pass from Will Rogers on Oct. 1, 2022.
Fannin Jr. will defend his title against the Old Dominion Monarchs when they come to the Doyt on Saturday, Sept. 28.
Kickoff is set for 5:00 p.m.
