Halloween is just around the corner, and at BGSU, that means it’s a great time of year to celebrate with friends. Making sure you are safe and knowing the safety options available to you will ensure you have the best weekend possible.
The BGSU Bus Shuttle’s Red Route will operate Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 7 P.M. – 2:30 A.M. The bus will pick up passengers at Court Street and will stop at Offenhauer, Kreischer, Conklin, Centennial and Founders. This is a great resource for those who want a secure and safe way to get home and cannot drive or just to get back dry in case of rain or other bad weather.
Speaking of bad weather, dress appropriately. While it’s always fun to dress up in your costume, make sure you know what temperature you’re prepping for. If it’s cold out wear a jacket and long pants. Most places, whether it be a bar, club or house party, will have areas to store jackets.
Know your surroundings. If you’re going out with new people, make sure to get their contact information before going out. Just in case you get separated, need help or have a question, the people you are with are always a phone call or text message away.
