BGSU men’s golf competed in the Miami RedHawk Invitational on Monday and Tuesday. BGSU finished in 13th place with a score of 872 out of 21 competing teams.
Falcon senior Darin Hudak tied for 21st place with 214 points in the team competition, the highest team placing for Bowling Green. Graduate Student Evan Johnson was the second-highest individual ranking for Orange and Brown, tying for 24th place with 215 points.
Several other Falcons finished in the top 100 team competitors: Senior Luke Evans tied for 42nd place with a score of 220, and senior Zander Gibson and freshman Andrew Lee tied for 67th and 75th place, respectively.
In individual results for the RedHawk Invitational, BG junior Ethan Irvine tied for 82nd place with 232 points.
Marquette took first place in the RedHawk invitational, with 836 points on the day for the top finish out of 21 teams.
The Orange and Brown also competed in the Golden Flash Invitational on Monday. Freshman Brayden Larson tied for second place with 144 points on the green.
Bowling Green’s next competition will have them traveling to Kettering, OH, for the Dayton Intercollegiate on Oct 21-22.
