The Bowling Green men’s Golf Team competed in the Dayton Flyers Invitational, which was hosted at NCR Country Club in Kettering, Ohio.
The Falcons placed 12th out of 12 teams, shooting +55 over par through three rounds.
Kent State came in first place shooting +12 over par in a close finish to #37 ranked Marquette University, who fell short by two strokes.
Bowling Green senior Darin Hudak finished 28th in a five-way tie out of 79 golfers with a score of +10 (75-73-75-223).
Following Hudak, graduate student Evan Johnson placed 36th in a seven-way tie shooting (76-74-75-225).
Junior Zander Gibson and senior Luke Evans tied for 58th place. Gibson finished with 19+(73-83-76-232). Evans finished with 19+(76-75-81-232).
Freshman Andrew Lee placed 63rd in a three-way tie shooting +22(76-82-77-235).
For individuals, freshman Brady Fox placed 68th with a final score of +24(75-84-78), and freshman Brayden Larson placed 74th shooting +28(82-77-82-241)
This concludes fall tournaments for the Orange and Brown. The Falcons will resume play on Feb. 10 in Mid-American Conference (MAC) match play at the Lake Jovita Golf and Country Club in Dade City, Florida.
