BGSU men’s cross country finished their Mid-American Conference (MAC) competition Saturday morning at the MAC Championship in Muncie, Indiana.
The Orange and Brown finished ninth in the race, last among competing teams. Toledo claimed victory in the team competition, securing the MAC Championship sweep for their men’s and women’s teams.
Anthony Sweet was the top finisher for the Falcons, who finished 41st overall, just eight places ahead of his former BG teammate, Akron’s Heriberto Alvarez.
The Falcons’ newcomers for the year, sophomore Jim Trzaska and freshman Luke Lesseuer notched their first career MAC Championship performances, placing 73rd and 74th, respectively.
