BGSU XC: Women’s team finishes 4th, Men’s team snags 9th at MAC Championships

The Bowling Green Cross Country teams played host for the 2023 Mid-American Conference Championships on a day where the course record was broken in both the men’s and women’s competitions.

The women’s race saw four Falcons in the top 21 on the way to a fourth place finish. Kylee Cubbison earned All-MAC second-team honors with an 11th place finish, and Katerina Shuble (17th), Kailee Perry (20th), and Regina Rose (21st) rounded out the top performers for the orange and brown.

In the men’s competition, Anthony Sweet was a standout with a team-best 23rd place and Heriberto Alvarez (36th) also posted a strong finish. 

The Falcons race again on Friday, November 10, when they travel to Madison, Wisconsin for the NCAA Great Lakes Regional.
