With finals week this week, it’s safe to say everyone’s feeling the stress! Experts say it is completely normal to feel anxiety regarding these final exams of the semester. With that, there are also some opportunities on campus to relax and feel better before finals hit.
Yoga – For generations, yoga has been used as a way to improve one’s emotional and physical state. On December 9th and 11th from 12:10 to 12:50 p.m. in the Jerome Library room 142, there will be free yoga for any BGSU student. Whether it’s your first time doing yoga or you’re used to it, this class is for all stages, just make sure to bring a mat, towel, and a water bottle.
PAWS Therapy Dogs – Feeling stressed? The therapy dogs on the PAWS team are here to help. On Monday, December 9th, the Therapy Dogs will be in the Student Recreation Center from 5 – 6 p.m. These adorable pups are trained in helping people feel better, meaning they are perfect for helping those anxious about this final week.
Hot Cocoa and DIY Pillows – Winter is here, especially in cold and windy Bowling Green. To help combat finals stress and keep people warm, the Jerome Library will be offering free hot cocoa from 4 to 6 p.m., first come first serve. The event will also offer a free Christmas pillow craft.
Game Session – Let’s-a-go gaming! On December 10th from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at room 427 in the Bowen-Thompson Student Union, there will be a game night. The games featured will be Mario Kart, Mario Party, Just Dance and more. This is a great time to go with friends, dance, play and compete with them.
