The 67th Annual Grammy Awards happened on Sunday, Feb. 2. A-listers in the music industry got together to celebrate music and hopefully win an award. These celebrities showcased stunning outfits, but some missed the mark.
Charli XCX
Charli XCX had eight nominations and went home winning three, including Best Dance/Electronic Album for her album, “BRAT”. Charli wore a custom Jean Paul Gaultier look designed by Ludovic de Saint Sernin. The gown features ruffles and a corset, paired with knee-high black heels. The silhouette works with the dramatic fabric by providing definition. All of the elements work nicely together, making it a beautiful and near-perfect piece for the red carpet that aligns with her own style. This look was one of the best of the night.
Chappell Roan
Chappell Roan had six nominations and went home winning Best New Artist thanks to her album, “The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess.” Wearing a look from Jean Paul Gaultier’s spring 2003 couture collection, the dress features a painting by Edgar Degas, “Dancer with a Bouquet.” She added elements to the vintage piece to make it more modern. With Roan’s eccentric style, this is the type of look fans were expecting and the type of look to be remembered.
Billie Eilish
Billie Eilish had seven nominations but did not receive any awards. Eilish wore a Prada ensemble featuring a sailor’s hat and small wireframe sunglasses. The entire look was on the more simple side of the night. The look is from Prada’s Menswear collection which is very common for Eilish. While the look aligns with her style it could have been made more memorable with the right accessories.
Kacey Musgraves
Kacey Musgraves had four nominations and went home winning Best Country Song for “The Architect.” Wearing a look from Ralph Lauren’s spring 2025 ready-to-wear collection, the dress was designed to resemble a white tank top paired with a gold skirt and brown belt. Compared to other looks, this one was very simple and outdated. While Musgraves is a country artist and this is a very country-themed look, it still looked very casual for the ceremony. With a different color palette and belt, the look could have been simple and chic. This look was one of the worst of the night.
