The Falcon signing frenzy continued late Thursday night, as forward Jaedyn Cook announced via social media that she would be transferring to Bowling Green State University.
This will be the soon to be junior’s second go around at the NCAA Division I level. Her freshman season was spent in Eastern Carolina, where she played in 11 games and averaged 0.4 points.
Last season, she played at the junior college (JUCO) level for Odessa College. Cook averaged 10 points and 5.4 rebounds in 28 games.
Per NCAA rules, she will have three years of eligibility remaining, as time spent at the JUCO level does not count against a student-athlete’s Division I eligibility clock.
Standing at 6-foot-3, the Virginia native will add height to the Orange and Brown squad, something coach Fred Chmiel values greatly.
