BGSU men’s basketball senior forward Marcus Johnson is reportedly entering the transfer portal, according to On3Sports’ Joe Tipton.
Johnson will have one year of eligibility remaining. He is the sixth Mid-American Conference (MAC) player and first Falcon to enter the portal.
Johnson led the Orange and Brown and ranked sixth in the MAC with 16.2 points per game this season. He also led the conference with 89.8% shooting on free throws, while ranking third with 78 3-pointers and ninth with 39.4% shooting from deep.
Two years ago at Wheeling, the 6-foot-7-inch, 265-pound forward ranked 14th in Division II with 21.6 points per game.
Johnson finished this season with back-to-back 20-point performances, tallying a team-high 13 20-point games throughout the season. He gained national attention when he scored 23 points against Michigan State earlier this season.
