BGSU men’s basketball junior guard Javontae Campbell is reportedly entering the transfer portal.
Campbell is the third Falcon to enter the portal, joining senior forward Marcus Johnson and redshirt freshman forward Jamai Felt.
Campbell had a historic season after transferring to the Falcons, recording 90 steals, which broke the program record and are the fifth-most in a single season in Mid-American Conference (MAC) history. He was named to the All-MAC Third Team and MAC All-Defensive Team.
The Muskogee, Oklahoma, native played nearly all of conference play with a broken right hand, finishing the season playing with two broken hands.
Campbell scored 14.9 points per game on an efficient 49.5% shooting from the field for Bowling Green. He scored at least 20 points eight time this season, recording a triple-double against Aquinas College on Dec. 23.
