On Wednesday, July 15, the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced the 2025-26 Team Academic Excellence Awards and the NABC Honors Court.  

As a team, the Bowling Green Falcons were awarded the Team Academic Excellence award, given to teams who finished the academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher.  

The NABC Honors Court requires athletes to be a junior, senior or graduate student and finish the 2025-26 year with a GPA of 3.2 or higher. There are six falcons named to this list including Aiden Goins, Javon Ruffin, Troy Glover II while Greg Spurgin, Javontae Campbell and Preston Squire all made the list for the second straight year.  

Each season under head coach Todd Simon, the Falcons have earned the Team Academic Excellence Award and have had at least three players be placed on the Honor Court.
