Danny Trejo to visit Bowling Green

Danny Trejo, best-selling actor and author, is to visit Bowling Green for the Wood County District Public Library (WCDPL) Foundation Series Event.  

According to WCDPL, film and book lovers are invited to meet Trejo on Oct. 1 at the Bowling Green City Schools Performing Arts Center located at 540 West Poe Rd.  

WCDPL said the actor is set to speak about his autobiography, “Trejo: My Life of Crime, Redemption, and Hollywood” and his life experience from being an ex-con to Hollywood star to Narcotics Anonymous and Alcoholics Anonymous counselor to restauranteur.  

There will be a book signing with books available to purchase on-site and attendees are allowed to take pictures with Trejo.  

The tickets for the event were free and based on first-come, first-served registration. WCDPL has filled all seats and there is no waitlist.
