Former Toledo mayor to teach at BGSU

The University has appointed Jack Ford as practitioner-in-residence in the College of Arts ‘ Sciences.

The former mayor of Toledo, Ford has taught at the collegiate level for 25 years and has 18 years of experience in public service.

Ford’s political career began on Toledo City Council, where he served seven years-the last year as council president. From there he moved to the Ohio House of Representatives for seven years. He then served four years as the mayor of Toledo.

Ford joined the faculty yesterday, and is expected to contribute to BGeXperience, the President’s Leadership Academy, and will be a guest lecturer, participating in courses throughout the University.
